Chief Operating Officer
Markus Hecker, Chief Operating Officer, turned SiteLink into the worldwide industry leader in self-storage and property management software. With over 8,000 users, SiteLink enjoys the largest, fastest-growing customer base of any self-storage program. Markus has been with SiteLink since its inception in 1996. He is instrumental in development and sales and is intimately familiar with storage operations. He has established lasting relationships with owners and managers of single and multi-store operations. Under Markus' leadership, SiteLink has emerged as a favorite among 40% of the nation's top 100 operators. In 2007, Markus led his sales team to implement SiteLink in the businesses of all five winners of MiniCo's coveted "Facility of the Year Award." Currently serving on the North Carolina Self Storage Association Board of Directors, Markus has sixteen years experience in sales and holds degrees from North Carolina State University in Business and French Literature.
President, Chief Executive Officer
Ross Lampe is the President, founder, and Chief Executive Officer of SiteLink, the most powerful, user-friendly program for self-storage management. Ross founded SiteLink in 1996 and is responsible for much of the company’s innovation and strategic direction. He is the architect of SiteLink Web Edition, a new product providing the best online-business architecture in the industry. Web Edition takes the proven, popular qualities of SiteLink 2007 to the next level, offering a multitude of new cost-saving features. Prior to founding SiteLink, Ross was Head of Technology in North America for Ericsson Telecommunications and responsible for RF chip sets and radio technologies. Before spearheading engineering at Ericsson, Ross held leadership roles in defense-related developments in the United States and overseas. He has degrees from North Carolina State University in Industrial Engineering and a PH.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
Chief Financial Officer
Ming-Mei Hong is the Chief Financial Officer of SiteLink. Ming-Mei oversees all financial related areas, including cost-control, budget planning, and financial reporting. She directs programmers in the development of accounting reports and ensures SiteLink software fulfills the customer’s accounting needs. Ming-Mei has over twenty years of accounting experience and joined SMD Software at its inception in 1996. She graduated from the National Taiwan University with a degree in Economics and a Masters in Accountancy from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. As a top scorer on the CPA exam in 1982, she received the Elijah Watts Sells Award.
Chief Information Officer, Chief Technology Officer
Luke Lenzen is the Chief Information Officer and Chief Technology Officer of SiteLink. His responsibilities include managing the SiteLink product line development, maintenance, and business logic as well as managing maintenance and upgrades of the end-to-end infrastructure. Luke's past development experience includes lead software developer for OZ Communications and lead software developer for Motorola's Emerging Technologies Division. He is also an Adjunct instructor for North Carolina State University teaching Java programming. He was awarded Best Computer Science Lecturer Award for the 2006-2007 and 2007-2008 academic years. Luke received his Bachelors and Masters in Computer Science from North Carolina State University.
Manager of After-Market Sales
Jennifer Aalfs is Manager of After-Market Sales for SiteLink. She works closely with the sales team and technical support to ensure the highest possible level of customer service. Jennifer has played a vital role at SiteLink since 2002. Her product knowledge, people skills, and sales support allowed the installed SiteLink base to grow rapidly. Her strong work ethic and multi-tasking capabilities have proven immensely valuable to SiteLink in serving a wide range of client demands. Jennifer graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in Art History.
Senior Account Manager
Bob Myers is Senior Account Manager for SiteLink. He is instrumental in growing relationships with new clients and maintaining existing accounts. Bob’s leadership has fostered the unsurpassed customer service and industry relationships SiteLink clients have come to expect. Bob has been an integral member of the SiteLink team since 2001.
With over twenty years of experience in sales and marketing, much of SiteLink’s growth goes to Bob’s credit. He was awarded the Who's Who award Among Top Executives while working at Florida Technical College. Bob holds degrees in Business Administration from Wingate University and a Master of Science degree from Barry University.
